This change is still affecting Toshiba Tecra M7 tablets as of Ubuntu

I would do it myself but it is hardware specific, all you need to do is
download and burn the latest Karmic daily build to disk, rewritable if
you don't want to waste a CD, and run it as Live CD, and tell us if it
works or not. We can't debug and fix things if we aren't given this kind
of informati
