Tell a lie - I still get this crash frequently with the version also in
gutsy-backports. It is usually triggered when I open Pidgin, and the
password dialogues appear (as I don't have Pidgin set to save my
passwords). Compiz has crashed three times today, and more than a dozen
times this week.

I upgraded Compiz to 0.6.2 from gutsy-backports a little while ago, and
it doesn't seem to be a problem with this version. I ran 0.6.0 for quite
a while after Gutsy final release, and I had this issue frequently right
up until I upgraded to the version from backports. So, I can't really
