Hello, I am afraid as the malfunctioning application is not open source
or part of the Ubuntu (nor in the repositories), we are unable you
assist you with the issue. However, I can point out that RealPlayer 11
for Linux was recently announced. You might want to update the
application, because it likely has numerous enhancements that also
concern the way it attempts to control the multimedia device.
