Public bug reported: Binary package hint: deskbar-applet
The deskbar applet in the upper panel does not stretch horizontally over the panel, like other applets do (like the user switch applet). Because of this, the user cannot put the mouse cursor straight up to the upper screen edge (in the part where the deskbar applet is located) and click, but instead he has to navigate the cursor directly over the (relatively small) icon box of the applet. This adds an unnecessary annoyance to the deskbar, as most other applets seem to behave "better" (in fact, it seems that besides the deskbar applet only the network manager applet does not stretch over the horizontal space). This happens with the Gutsy LiveCD as well as with an upgraded Gutsy Release Candidate installation. ** Affects: deskbar-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- deskbar applet should use complete horizontal panel space https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/154011 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
