On Gutsy and Griffith 0.9.4 with SQLite3.
Bug occurred when modified some of the values in
"Tools/Preferences/Movie details/Defaults" but left some of them as
"N/A". Fixed as Glennji Mason wrote; none of the values should be "N/A".
Bug did not occur initially when all values were "N/A" (except
"Re

I've seen the same problem on Ubuntu "Gutsy", MySQL backend, with the
following workaround:
Go to Tools -> Preferences.
Movie Details tab.
In the Defaults area, make sure none of the drop-down lists are set to N/A.
Save, try again.
I think the reason behind this is because the various fields (med
there is a small work around I found out today (ubuntu)
start griffith
- tools/preferences/plugins
-change the favorite movie plugin to allocine and save
-exit griffith
start griffith again
-push the +
-while it is open go to - tools/preferences/plugins
--change the favorite movie plugin to what
Please do update the importance of this bug and, since fix exists, put it in
Ubuntu updates, because this bug is
heavily mining program functionality (it's actually useless with this bug).
