Public bug reported: I have also described it here (comment on epiphany bug, but I have the problem for all applications): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /epiphany-browser/+bug/150959/comments/3
Windows frequently resize themselves: when I try to maximize them, they usually don't go to the full screen, but only a part of the screen. Frequently they snap to full screen and then back to the partial screen, when I use them. It is very annoying. (It happens for example to Firefox, Thunderbird, Eclipse, and even the screensaver preview only shows up on the partial screen). It almost seems as if Gnome is confused about the actual screen resolution. I have an external monitor with 1920x1200 resolution attached to a notebook with 1280x768 resolution. I don't care what is shown on the notebook monitor, but perhaps Gnome sometimes uses the resolution of the notebook when resizing for full screen, and at other times the resolution of the external screen? Exact hardware: Dell Latitude X1, Intel modesetting driver, external monitor Dell 2405FPW (analog). ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Windows frequently resize themselves (incorrect notion of fullscreen?) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/154273 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
