I am uncomfortable with the patch added here which disables failing
tests. Launchpad doesn't show any failures in these tests, and you
haven't given a rationale why it's correct to disable those tests.
Also, keeping those tests enabled doesn't result in any build failure
here. So I will upload wi

As you noted, this didn't pass the automated tests. I'm providing a new
debdiff that will. If you would prefer one relative to ubuntu1, I can do
that instead.
