My fix from #21 work only for a logout and not for a reboot. For Xubuntu 16.04 this workaround works: On the Dropbox menu go to Preferences. Deselect "Start Dropbox on system startup" Go to Session and Startup > Application Autostart and add the following startup item: bash -c 'sleep 30 &&
