Public bug reported:

I installed Ubuntu on a PC with only wireless network available. No
built-in driver was selected.

"Help and Support" under section "Using Windows Wireless Drivers"
advised to install ndisgtk using "Synaptic Package Manager".

This package is not available until after you have a connection to the
internet repositories, which you won't have unless have this package
installed.

Solution would be to include the ndisgtk and related packages on the
distro CD image.

Any alternate solutions?
