hello, I run a server Hardy 32 bits LTS and after the update it still impossible to install ACPID and it crash always if i will update or install a application . i run Kubuntu most of time and on gnome i don't find how add my apport- collect to complete this report. Please any help appreciate

I'm using a custom kernel, and yes I've disabled /proc/acpi/event because it has been deprecated. (custom based on Kernel-2.6.26) -- subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1: acpid: can't open /proc/acpi/event: No such file or directory
