Hi Bryce,
As you can see, this bug is more than a year old. I have since gotten a
Mac and only use Ubuntu on servers (where I don't use BpX anyways). In
addition, I can't even remember which box I got this on, so I'm afraid I
can't assist you any further with this issue.

85 hz sounds too high of a value for Bulletproof X if it is meant as a
safe fallback mode that always works.
LCD/TFT screens rarerly support more than 60 hz.
