The vesa driver doesn't offer 3D support. You must have been using a
different driver in Feisty.
If you still need help configuring 3D, I would suggest opening a support
request on Ubuntu Answers. :)

When I looked at the winehq bugs site, I see a similar problem (similar
trace) appeared in version 09.41 and was fixed but apparently reappeared
in 09.46 and 09.47. The bug report has been reopened.
