Public bug reported: When a program becomes unresponsive a dialog is shown which asks the user if the user would rather "Wait" or "Force Quit" the application, now on other systems when I have clicked the little "X" to close the dialog, the dialog has closed, but the application has stayed open, and I would think this logical because when you press the little "X" to close the dialog, you are closing the dialog, and it's not clear that that should close the program too so it was a shock to me when pressing the little "X" on the dialog automatically chose the "Force Quit" rather than the "Wait" option.
So I am filling this report because I believe it would be more logical to assign the little "X" button to the "Wait" option (as you are wanting to close the dialog which could indicate you want the dialog gone and not the actual program) rather than the "Force Quit" option. I am running Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 with GNOME 3.18, I have filled this report here because I am unsure which package invokes this popup so I am not sure which package to report it under... I trust though that somebody here will know which package is appropriate for this report and move it there. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1552688 Title: ""<Program>" is not responding.
