Were there any changes between 0.8.8-1 and 0.8.8-2?
I just upgraded to hardy and there is still no HBCI support.
Unfortunately the hint from the README.Debian doesn't work anymore.

The issues were fixed in 0.8.9, which is already packaged in Debian.
That should be ported to Hardy to make HBCI work.

For 0.8.9, there is a new package in Debian for KBanking plugin. See here:
http://packages.qa.debian.org/k/kmymoney2-plugin-aqbanking.html
I think that should be ported too, otherwise the kbanking plugin installation
has to be done manually.

Sorry to disagree, but this is not really a fix. It should have been
forwarded upstream so that the Debian maintainer decides to include or not
the configure flags.
