Public bug reported:

Please sync lazarus 1.6+dfsg-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
Lazarus 1.6 is the IDE for FPC 3.0.
FPC 3.0 was released in November 2015 and we already have that in Xenial.
Lazarus 1.6 was only released on February 18, but the release candidates were
uploaded to Debian experimental in January and followed by the released version
to unstable, which has just migrated to testing.

Changelog entries since current xenial version 1.4.4+dfsg-2build1:

lazarus (1.6+dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Upload to unstable
  * New upstream release (named 1.6 iso upstream 1.6.0 to be in line with
    the release candidates)
  * Update Vcs-* fields to use https
  * Bump standards (no changes)
