Fixed it by deleting the symlink "xubuntu-wallpaper.png" in
/usr/share/xfce4/backdrops
(Was targeting "xubuntu-trusty.png" in the same folder)
Btw, I'm on Ubuntu Trusty 14.04.2 LTS (Original Ubuntu transformed to
Xubuntu using Apt)

It only seems to occur when you are using the default wallpaper folder
