It's about the "silent" failure- there is no indication that there has
been a problem, which could lead an individual to believe that the
backup was successful. The comments in bug 144295 indicate that a fix
may be difficult, but in the meantime a warning should be thrown up to
indicate that it has

On NSsbackup it's not as silent as sbackup : we get it in logs and, if
the backup had been launched by a non root user libnotify will show an
error. So this bug would be invalid for it in the first case.
