In 7.04 and 7.10, some Chinese characters are occasionally displayed as
blanks. This has been observed in Gaim (7.04), Pidgin (7.10), Evolution
(some version before 7.04; can't recall), and Firefox (7.10).
The default language is English (en_US.UTF-8) in all cases. In Firefox
(7.10), the problem occurs only with UTF-8 encoding; GB2312 pages are
fine. In Gaim (7.04) and Pidgin (7.10), restarting the application
sometimes helps eliminating the issue.
