this bug still affecting you in other cases, or should we consider it

Restarting Firefox for several times can fix this problem. It's not
reliably reproducible. In 1 out of 5 I met this problem.

The problem occurred in Firefox today. I wrote a simple HTML page (as
found in the attachment), Opening it in Firefox using the UTF-8 encoding
should give you a "Hello" and a "你好". But I can only see "你" in the
latter word. This does not happen all time.

The attachment is a screen shot of Pidgin. All Chinese names in it
consists of three characters.
This problem appears in Pidgin most, but not all times. Firefox mostly
works fine. I've only observed this issue in Firefox when reading UTF-8
emails using OpenWebMail.
