Hi Basilio,
A subsequent upgrade of the Hardy alpha environment "broke" my
installation. I couldn't even log in: a failed malloc in the startup of
the session stopped me from even logging in in single-user mode.

I have same problem in Hardy Alpha 5. I attach my xorg.conf and
