Did not try Hardy Heron on such a little amount of RAM - it runs fine
with 512Mb.
btw, it's the "great job", the "dreamed" one. I totally replaced all
Win$ on my several computers.

Gutsy re-install fails on VIA Pent
Found the solution.
The reason was the insufficient amount of RAM (256Mb in my case) which,
on some platform (various graphc cards etc.) was insufficient to
"format" to run.
Inreasing the RAM amount to 512Mb solved the problem.
