*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1172993 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1172993
You can see the problem in the end of DpkgTerminalLog.gz : usermod: user 'u2' does not exist dpkg: error processing kismet (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 6 You need to specify the user in a "space-separated" list, not a comma separated one. Could you please purge the package: sudo apt-get purge kismet and then install it again? For the time being I'm marking it as a duplicate, since this issue has been already reported and fixed in the newest version ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1172993 package kismet 2011.03.R2-2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 6 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1571203 Title: package kismet 2013.03.R1b-3build1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 6 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kismet/+bug/1571203/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
