The Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 images doesn't include fcitx. The only thing
bringing Qt in was that evolution-data-server-online-accounts
recommended signon-plugin-password. That's fixed for yakkety:

I filed a debian bug ages ago re fcitx (can't find it atm, I will try
dig it up later).
Basically the debian accessibility guys were against my proposed
changes.
