I can confirm that this bug is fixed in the new version
(0.9.4-git:066a895), which can be found on the developers github page
(https://github.com/soimort/translate-shell).
Would be nice if this version can be included in the official repo.

Everything you do by cli with this tool is ending up in
[ERROR] Null response.
[ERROR] Oops! Something went wrong and I can't translate it for you :(
And running trans with -debug you get an
23 bytes > HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
So fix it or remove it ;) - but fix it would be
