Public bug reported: Menu's no longer appear in open Window's Title Bar for gedit (and I suspect for any GUI editor). The options to set them are still in the System Settings > Appearance > Behavior -- In the window's title bar, and Always displayed -- yet they are not in the window's title bar with these options selected.
I can no longer select "Save As" when editing existing documents with gedit. The only way to save a document with a new name is to cut-and- past into an Untitled Document ... What The Frell? I just checked my laptop which still runs 14.04, and the menu's aren't showing up in the title bar for LibreOffice, Unity Tweak Tool, dconf Editor (can't search for key words), or Nautilus either. ** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575792 Title: Ubuntu 16.04: Menus not showing in Window's Title Bar in various apps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-docs/+bug/1575792/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
