vnc4server or tightvncserver would have done this. However, I'd always
recommend X11 over SSH over them. More secure and often better
performance. The only downside is that there is no (easy) session
support.

Hi please have a look at the two following
- XDCMP which allows remote login to X via GUI
- X11 forwarding in SSH
and see if either of them solves your problem.
