Public bug reported: My Matrox P650 card which previously was working quite nice with Ubuntu, does not work with Gutsy anymore.
I have downloaded the latest unified Linux drivers from the Matrox homepage, and installation seems to work. However the mtx driver is not available in the list of video drivers, and has to be manually written to the x-configuration file. The driver lists in the list of proprietary drivers, but its status is "active", but "not in use". ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Matrox proprietary mtx drivers not recognized https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157667 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
