Ok, with stock kernel, support(graphics,display) for Polaris GPU is not
present. This support will be in kernel 4.7. That is the reason for no
audio endpoint. Please pick the audio commit.

The test kernel in comment #5 was the stock Xenial kernel with a cherry
pick of the commit requested. That may indicate the commit introduces a
new bug. Are there any error messages in the logs with this test
