Public bug reported: I use md5deep.
Since the dist-upgrade to 16.04, the binary md5deep is not available anymore. Minimal example : sudo apt-get install md5deep -> Ubuntu install md5deep and hashdeep but autocompletion only show : $ md5sum md5sum md5sum.textutils autiwa:~$ locate md5deep autiwa:~$ whereis md5deep md5deep: Note that I tested this on both a fresh install and a dist-upgrade. Even a new launch of terminal, or a reboot doesn't change anything to my problem. I'm not sure but I think there's a problem with the package that doesn't contain any md5deep binary. hashdeep is available. ** Affects: hashdeep (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: packaging -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1577293 Title: binary not available in package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hashdeep/+bug/1577293/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
