*cough* Umh...Ok its been nearly one year since I wrote this Bugreport.
Using Hardy Heron now, the Bug isn't occuring anymore. Don't know if
anyone else is still having probs with this, for me it's fixed.
Suspendmodes are working, I'm happy. ;)

Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I am facing the same problem. Please help Linux achieve production level
use. Whenever I try to use microphone input, the sound modules seem to
get halted and then I would not be able to use any applications that use
sound even if I remove the sound card. This problem seems to be in
