I also am experiencing this problem, with a fresh install of Gutsy. If a panel is on the left or top of the primary screen (Window 0) maximizing an app works as expected. If the panel is to the right or at the bottom of the screen, the app maximizes underneath it, as if whatever is calculating the

I think one solution would be to place the panel to the left side of the left display, but I don't know how to move panels that way. On the other hand, panel in the middle of desktop is faster to reach. Maybe it would be good to have an option to have panel(s) on both displays. -- Maximizing wind
