I have tested llvm-defaults 0.33ubuntu3.1 from proposed and it fixed the
bug for me.

Hello Jan, or anyone else affected,
Accepted llvm-defaults into xenial-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-
defaults/0.33ubuntu3.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
