Public bug reported:

When using the browser in phone mode (tested with M10 in desktop mode,
stable channel):

open a website,
new tab, open another tab
get back to the first tab
the tab is empty, your website is reloading

your phone then save more ressources/batteries (might be expected)

when in desktop mode, with an easy access to tabs with mouse, every
single time you change tabs, it will have the same user story (not
expected imho)

A lot of usual desktop experience is crashed by this behavior. If the
device has enought power to do the desktop mode, it should allow opening
more than one tabs with activ content

example of bad user feelings :

I open a website where there is a textarea
I have a doubt about my text submission
I open a new tab to check wikipedia
My sentence seems correct after all
I get back to the previous tab to try to focus the text input
But the tab is reloading itself
I have all the delay it takes to reload the page
and will lose all the content I've previously set

This is clearly something you don't want on a desktop, do you ?
