Hi, I was using Rhythmbox earlier today to play some mp3s and paused it to watch a brief video clip using the Movie Player app. The video worked fine in Movie Player, but there was no sound and the speaker icon in that app was grayed out. Stopped/exited the Rhythmbox app entirely and tried again

Running Hardy now. Rhythmbox still isn't entirely releasing the sound interface. I have two audio outputs available on my laptop. One is an external USB sound device, my prefered audio output. Rhythmbox uses this okay. The other output is the built in speakers, which I'd rather not use at
