I can confirm this in Gutsy, using evolution 2.12.0-0ubuntu5
inotifywatch in ~/.evolution shows activity in mail/views:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.evolution$ inotifywatch -r *
Establishing watches...
Finished establishing watches, now collecting statistics.
total modify close_write open moved_from
No, there's no tracker daemon running. The disk activity is certainly
not related to tracker. I'll try changing a few things and see what
happens.
