I tested qshutdown on xenial with version 1.6.8-1 and 1.7 as well. No such
issue.
As the report is not official, I won't be able to reproduce this.
I checked again and there seem to be many other applications reported with the
very same bug. This definitely is a framework bug and might be

1) I can't login at the link provided.
2) Qt Creator seems to have a similar problem. This means that it would be a Qt
wide problem. Please try to use newest 1.7 version on launchpad.
I will try to find a new debian sponsor and get the newest version into the
Debian/Ubuntu repositories as soon
