Public bug reported:

After installing the FF DE I was not able to start the bundled firefox, the
icon in the luncher was replaced with the FF DE's icon. Filtering applications
by "Firefox" finds only the Developer Edition. The bigger problem is that when
the Dev Edition is opened it seems that the other firefox starts in background
too, because if you try to close the window of the DE you will get notification
"Are you sure you wish to close all tabs" (or something like that) but only one
tab is actually oppened. Both editions have complete sync enabled, not sure if
that is not causing the problem.
Other thing is that the checkbox for "Allow Firefox Developer Edition and
Firefox to run at the same time" does not remember unchecked state. I am
un-checking, closing the tab, opening preferences again and the option is
active again (checked).
It should be possible to use different editions separately as on windows.
