yes, the package depends on both python-2.4 and python-2.5, even in
hardy.. Should be easy to fix. nominating for hardy.

http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/python-tz clearly shows the
dependencies. I forgot to include that link previously. Not sure if
the request for hardy is too late already with the freeze in effect. My
understanding is that bugs can still be fixed, but I might be wrong.

I confirm that behaviour trying to install Matplotlib, tracing back the
dependency to this package.
