application?, could you please try to reproduce this using the live
environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron.

Importance
wpasupplicant doesn't interact with gconf at all. network-manager is
responsible to configure wpasupplicant, which fails for you. I'm
reassigning this bug therefore to the wpasupplicant package.

Update: I really don't need to remove ALL the gconf-editor entries for
that network. It works again if I remove just the ESSID entry.
