I've installed a daily Ubuntu MATE 16.04 xenial and enabled xenial-
proposed. After an 'apt update' pppoeconf is now available from ubunutu-
mate-desktop and ubunutu-mate-core.
@rae1939 When Ubuntu MATE 16.04.2 is released it will be included
pppoeconf in the live session.

Accepted ubuntu-mate-meta into xenial-proposed. The package will build
now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-
mate-meta/1.154.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
