Public bug reported: This happens on yakkety with unity7 (xcb).
1) Go to System Settings -> Online Accounts 2) Choose "Add account" 3) Choose Google, Facebook, Evernote or any web-base providers 4) Wait for the page to load 5) Click anywhere on the page (even clicking on a scrollbar triggers this behaviour) After step 5, the webview will turn white, and apparently stop responding.
