If I understand correctly the fix for Ubuntu updates is not in OTA-14,
right? OTA-14 update shows todays date for me (10th December) although I
updated my phone few days ago.

There is indeed still something incorrect, I see an update listed for
today that was done yesterday, and one for yesterday that was probably
the day before. After getting today's update, I see two for Sept 14.

There are still some issues with that. The latest update (at least for
Ubuntu versions) always shows today's date.
