Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xrandr

reproduce:
* use an ati card and the free "radeon" driver (default gutsy-installation ...)
* type:
    xrandr --output S-video --set tv_standard ntsc
    xrandr --output S-video --mode 800x600
--> it works fine with ntsc-compatible tvs

* type:
    xrandr --output S-video --set tv_standard pal
    xrandr --output S-video --mode 800x600
--> the syncing of the screen gets messed up...

NOTE: This bug has also been reported in here, i don't know ho you guys treat
"problems of other projects", but I really would like to have that working...
(and not to reboot into M$ to watch a nice movie ;-) )
