I can confirm this bug in my Ubuntu Hardy Heron, using gxine. The steps
to reproduce are exactly the same as in the first post of this report.

I can confirm this. My steps:
1. click ona .mpg file. Now xine starts to play the movie
2. right click on the menubar, choose advanced, keep above others
3. click on a different window. Now xine looses focus, but the xine window
stays on top.
4. click on the xine window and type'f' Now xine goes f
