Installed kernel version 4.8.0-25 from proposed repository
Could see live patch config options are enabled in the kernel config file.
# grep -i live config-4.8.0-25-generic
CONFIG_HAVE_LIVEPATCH=y
CONFIG_LIVEPATCH=y

Checked with the latest i.e. 4.8.0-19-generic and NOT seeing the live
patch config options
