Right, openssl1.0 has been removed for now. This bug will magically
block it again if it reappears (as long as no one closes it, so please

Well actually, I just want libssl1.0-dev to redirect to our currently
libssl-dev for now.
We are on g release and only take CVE patches in. I don't think we want to move
to j release.
If anything, we want to stick to the same release as in xenial, and maybe do a
jump to 1.1 if that transition go
Not probably, definitely. The SONAME rename and such need to be
reintroduced, and everything that was built with a dependency on
libssl1.0.2 needs a rebuilt to get back to 1.0.0
