Public bug reported: Rebase to a kernel that supports trusted computing event log passing via kexec (anticipate 4.9). Also, enable the feature in the kconfig:
CONFIG_HAVE_IMA_KEXEC=y That option signals that the architecture supports the IMA_KEXEC feature. The option which actually enables it is CONFIG_IMA_KEXEC. The patches have been on linux-next for more than a month already, so they got a wide exposure. They shouldn't break anything. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Taco Screen team (taco-screen-team) Status: New ** Tags: architecture-ppc64le bugnameltc-148840 severity-critical targetmilestone-inin1704 ** Tags added: architecture-ppc64le bugnameltc-148840 severity-critical targetmilestone-inin1704 ** Changed in: ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => Taco Screen team (taco-screen-team) ** Package changed: ubuntu => linux (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1645390 Title: Include kexec trusted computing event log handover in the kernel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1645390/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
