Why not use the latest stable version of warzone2100? This version
(currently 2.0.10) is named stable by the makers. It does not make sense
to usa a beta version in Ubuntu, especially not in a LTS version.

I would change status to CLOSED/WONTFIX, but that is apparently not an option
here...
Ubuntu Staff: Please update to 2.1_beta2 (which will get out really soon) and
CLOSE/WONTFIX all svn snapshot related bugs.

I think I have the same problem. When starting a skirmish game, it'll
freeze upon loading the game.
