Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

I just do daily upgrades on Hardy Heron (25 November 2007) when I got
this one:

Setting up update-manager (1:0.85.3) ...
Compiling /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/DistUpgrade/DistUpgradeCache.py ...
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/DistUpgrade/DistUpgradeCache.py", line
452
    finally:
          ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

pycentral: pycentral pkginstall: error byte-compiling files (32)
pycentral pkginstall: error byte-compiling files (32)
dpkg: error processing update-manager (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 update-manager
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

I hope this will help with something
At least, upgraded packages seems to be OK
