Same for my Hardy, 95% of sites containing flash generates an error for
each flash animation (e.g. 2 flashes per page = 2 crashes per page) in
konqueror. Firefox can play them with no problems.

Fixed this by cleaning up my ~/.mozilla directory. It contained some
stale files from older plugin installations which firefox did not use.
(After installation of package flashplugin-nonfree firefox used the
plugins in /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree instead.)

The same here. I am running ubuntu 7.10 on a three-years-old p4 laptop,
very standard hardware except the hi-res 1600x1200 display.
Konqueror just does not play flash from youtube and the like.
Upon closing the konqueror window (or the tab with the flash content), I get an

I also get it; Gutsy's package doesn't seem to be built to provide me
with backtrace or debug info.
I seem to get it often enough in Konqueror, when I use it as a browser.
I tried reinstalling konqueror-nsplugins but no fix.

nspluginviewer crashes badly on flashplayer
I have the same problem with a systematic crash on visiting web pages that have
flash contents with konqueror. Rather annoying since we can't have flash with
Konqueror anymore.
Kubuntu 7.10 updated from earlier versions.
Thanks for any work to solve it.

This is a fresh install of kubuntu 7.10, and I'm getting lots of these
crashes. They do not crash the whole system, but I get lots of crash
handler windows that I have to close.

I've got this here, although I haven't seen if it is flash related.

Forgot to mention that I am running a clean install of gutsy, except for
the home directory, which is the same partition that I used for feisty,
left alone and reused unchanged. Upgrade was done by installing gutsy
to a reformatted root using the desktop CD.
